KINDNESS TRAVELS
Becuz I Care is a program that can go all around the country. All you have to do is start with a few bracelets, then whenever you do something nice for someone (i.e. buy their coffee at Starbucks, or pay them a compliment) you give them a bracelet, and pass down this message:
In a world with so many issues, let’s just show other people that they are valued.

Leah and her friend Sianna were selected to represent the Sacramento region, and the Sacramento Kings at Nike’s Inaugural Game Growers Camp. The camp was made up of pairs of 8th grade girls from around the country looking to find ways to keep girls involved in sports. By the time girls reach 8th grade, they are 50% more likely to drop out of sports than boys, creating barriers both physically and socially that can last a lifetime.
Leah and Sianna’s Idea:
Build upon the original BecuzIcare11 idea, sell a unique BecuzIcare bracelet to raise funds for girls to play in an all girls basketball league, with female coaches and mentors from local high schools to encourage young female athletes and give them a glimpse of what remaining involved in sports looks like at the next level. You can help support this effort by purchasing one of these bracelets today!
